The doorbell rings, it’s your assistant wearing a tense smile She’s come to check up on me She looks up, snaps a picture and sends it to you Next thing I know I’ve been paid, I’m in a car heading inland And tonight at one am in the bustling bar back in my neighborhood I will hear a scripted pickup line And exchange what I have stolen for ten times what you paid me And go and sleep in my dusty cot for the first time in weeks And dream that the sea swallows everything I gave you. Primordial Blue represents the first full length album I have released and is a collection of pieces with the underlying theme of water, focused on flow, layers and spatial elements. Moving more into the *ambient* and texture space, these instrumentals with peppered samples were sometimes precursors to yet unfinished songs. However, after many listens I felt these stood up as instrumentals in their own right. From more trippy to dark cinematic, to fun meanderings, it is an exploration and a journey. See individual tracks for specific comments.
